All, I've just spent about three hours trying to get a documented feature of the war plugin's webResource property to work, following the instructions at http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-war-plugin/examples/adding-filtering-webresources.htmlto the letter, only to find out that this feature isn't in the currently released version of the war plugin.
This is a really important feature in order to get my project migrated to Maven 2, but can you please not put documentation live for features that aren't even committed to the head of the code base please? I eventually had to checkout the head of the plugin and apply the patch attached to the jira issue, and build a local snapshot version. Regards, Martin Gladdish.
