Nikolai Gorchilov edited comment on TS-3084 at 9/19/14 10:20 PM:
-----------------------------------------------------------------

During my lab tests iPhone restore feature was working fine - from Mac, from
Windows, regular restore, DFU restore - it always worked without any issues.

Unfortunately I have an end-user who is connected behind a patched version of
ATS 5.1.0 and still complains about iPhone activation issues. I've to
investigate further in order to determine if his problem is related to the
cache or not. It may take some time due to the weekend.

Stay tuned...

> On iDevice restoration iTunes makes activation request to gs.apple.com
> (request attached).
> When sent via ATS, the request leads to HTTP/1.1 400 (bad request) response
> from origin server.
> Proper response (on direct connection) is also attached for your reference.
> Here's the command to reproduce the problem
> {noformat}
> netcat gs.apple.com 80 < gs.request
> {noformat}
