I successfully use mbsync with several mail accounts, and mu4e as MUA.
Basically, it works very, very well, so thanks a lot for it.
One thing which I haven't figured out is how to handle drafts in a
sensible manner. The following is what I observe.

Looks like a problem caused by having different versions of isync on the
two machines. Fixed by upgrading.

Error: unrecognized sync state header entry at at
[path-to-my-maildir]/.mbsyncstate:1
If I remove .mbsyncstate, mbsync downloads all the mails again, duplicating
everything.

Ah, I hadn't seen that the filename itself was part of the maildir spec,
