.Net/C# Developer for a contract opportunity. Austin, TX The assignment consists of maintaining the current environment which is a call center, IVR, field services set of applications. This position will develop and configure interfaces to an off-the-shelf replacement application. Then ongoing support, enhancement development, and maintenance of that environment will be required. Person must have 2-3 years of .Net experience, using C++ and/or C#. Responsibilities will include providing work estimates, participating in the design effort, configuration development, unit and integration testing and performing code reviews. Required Skills o Degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline strongly preferred. o Experience with requirements gathering, system design, configuration, integration (with legacy systems and reporting technologies), and comprehensive documentation for assigned functions. o 3-5 years experience in Web and Windows-based User Interface and frameworks development. o Experience developing software using a formal, structured development methodology o Two or more years experience with full-cycle (i.e. requirements definition through testing/implementation) software development o Good software development skills in ASP. Net , VB.NET, C#, C++ required. Net and Microsoft suite of technologies. o Microsoft certification is a plus o Experience developing and supporting call center business systems or integrated voice response applications a plus Understanding/experience of most of the following technologies: o TSQL, Stored Procedures, MS SQL Server, Query Analyzer, Enterprise Manager, SQL Profiler, RDBMS Design, Extended Stored Procedures o JScript, VB.NET, VB 6, C++/ C#, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, XML, Visual Studio 2003/2005 o .NET Framework, MS Speech Application SDK 1.1 o Active Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services o Source Safe, IIS, Tembria Monitor, Dev Partner o SNMP, SMTP, TAP, SOAP o Web Services, OOP o Understanding/experience with concepts such as caching, session management, load balancing. o DB Library, CORBA, Extended Stored Procedures, SQL DMO ***Please make note of my new email address thanks!
