Some of the applications have Oracle database thus PL/SQL is to be used to extract data from Oracle database and presented in flat files, HTML, XML or web services based on what the other applications required format. Other applications have SQL server as the database and data needs to be extracted from SQL server database and presented in flat files, HTML, XML or web services based on what the other applications required format. In addition Perl is used as a scripting language for various activities including automating job runs, error message management. SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE - Very strong skills in at least one of the following: *Oracle PL/SQL programming, SQL server programming, or Perl scripting* - Some experience and knowledge of at least one of the other technologies to complement the primary technology (ex: Strong PL/SQL skills, and light Perl Scripting skills) - The ability to work with other technical team members create technical design documents based from business design and data mapping documents. The developer will then need to code and unit test their code, and expected to support System Integration testing and UAT later on.
