Position : *Business Analyst and/or Technical Analyst* Duration : 6-12 months Location : NY The FID Rates IT team seeks individual to perform business and technical analysis for the high profile global blotter consolidation project. . Role Summary: The IT team is split between New York, Raleigh, London, Singapore, and Tokyo. Rates is a growth area within Credit Suisse. There are currently three major IT initiative steams in this area focused on Electronic Trading, Risk, and Core Trading systems. Together with a number of business aligned RAD teams, we deliver key value-adding functionality to the trading desks. Our clients are primarily front office and will also include interaction with members of operations, product control, financial control and risk. Key Deliverables: • Work with business and IT users to develop and document functional specifications • Work with development team to convert functional specifications to technical specifications. • Assist in developing and implementation of test strategies and cases Experience and skill sets that will be needed in the role are – 2+ years professional IT experience as a Business Analyst and/or Technical Analyst. Data architecture / modelling experience strongly desired. Well versed in SDLC. SQL proficiency (Sybase, Oracle or MS) strongly desired. Ability to quickly develop a strong understanding of the Rates business. On a rotational basis, candidate will provide coverage for trading desk beginning at 7 am EST. .
