*Required Skills: *
15+ years of experience in a formal development environment with 5-7 years
of architecture experience.
*Technical: *
· · Strong Server side framework based development experience is
required
· · Strong GUI framework design experience is required
· · Strong C# .NET, JAVA programming experience is required
(experience in WPF is preferred)
· · Strong experience in multi-threaded programming and object
oriented design is required
· · Strong experience building connected, service-oriented
applications is required
· · CEP experience (Streambase) knowledge is a plus.
· · Experience in visualization technologies like pan-opticon, Spot
fire etc is a plus.
· · Middleware messaging MQ, JMS is a plus
· · Strong SQL development is a plus
· · JIRA, SharePoint development experience is a plus
*Business Knowledge and others: *
· Deep understanding of US and International Equity markets.
· · Ability to translate business requirements into technical
specifications.
· · Ability to analyze existing Trading applications.
· · Ability to produce documentation at all levels, client service and
technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further
developing and integrating systems knowledge with technology skills

The architect will be responsible for architecture of high performance
trading system with special focus on visualization GUI. The architect
should have strong development experience in building and enhancing equity
trading systems covering both GUI and server side components. Exposure to
trading algorithm, trading signals, quantitative analysis, high transaction
volumes, dealing with large data sets, Complex event processing engines
(CEP) is required.
The architect will be responsible for:
· · Creating, defining or choosing the application framework for the
next generation of trading platform.
· · Defining the architecture of new trader workstation visualization
GUI that will be utilized for trade planning and trade execution.
· · Defining Integration strategy for new trading platform with legacy
upstream and downstream systems.
· · Defining Integration strategy with Market Data and other data
feeds.
· · Recommending hardware, networking, storage, messaging and other
infrastructure components for the trading platform with HA and DR
capabilities.
· · Architecture diagrams covering business flows and system
components.
