Position: ASP.Net Developer (H1's OK) Location: Dublin, OH Duration: 4+ Months Rate: $50/hr W2 or $55/hr C2C Phone Screen + F2F Required! Job Description: This resource must have working knowledge/experience with WPF. Technical Skills - Able to use most all of the concepts and features of the required technical skills on a daily basis without assistance. Able to solve tool related problems without assistance. Required - Microsoft ASP - .Net - Working knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) is a must - XML - Understands and has used OO concepts - Must be skilled in using Microsoft web development tools - Ability to capture complex business concepts and implement sound, reusable design - Mature development and design skills - Exposure to open source technologies - Ability to own deliverables in its entirety - Able to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications - Able to identify alternative solutions at both the component and architectural level - Able to participate in testing and implementation activities including the development of data verification methods - Able to accurately estimate development work effort Preferred - Oracle PL/SQL - Web Services/SOAP Soft Skills - Able to collaborate effectively with no assistance - Being self directed, innovative and goal oriented - Exceptional written and oral communication skills - communication is professional (adequate preparation for presentations, documentation is spelled checked and grammatically correct, emails are thorough and concise, etc.), timely and fact based - Able to effectively identify and communicate issues and risks to team manager - Able to effectively communicate technical issues and concepts to non-technical team members and business partners - Able to present concepts and designs in a group setting - Able to lead design reviews and conduct code walk throughs Work Experience - Minimum 6 years experience in IT - Minimum 36 months medium to large projects utilizing desired technology - Experience includes use of UML and/or Rational Methodology - Understands and has experience with most aspects of project management methodologies and techniques (status reporting, issue management, risk management, implementation planning, etc.) and is able to participate and contribute in the associated activities - Participated in at least 2 complete project life cycles (analysis/design/construction/QA/implementation) - Desired - Experience in leadership roles Expectations - Willingness to work overtime as needed to support deadlines - Willingness to mentor others without impacting ones own work - Produces software artifacts with a focus on reusability and maintainability - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams and organizations - Able to produce all deliverables appropriate for the designated role as defined by the methodology in use - Able to review and provide feedback on deliverables and work product Vendor Comments: As noted in the required skills section, must demonstrate working knowledge and experience with WPF.
