*Oracle Financial Apps DBA:
Location: Melville, NY
Duration: Full Time
Salary: 95-100k
Must have e-business suite experience.
Requirements:
• At least 3-5 years production support of large Oracle E-Business Suite
11i environment with Oracle Financials and Custom applications.
• At least 5 years production support of large business critical Oracle
10g databases.
• Experience applying patches/bug fixes using AD tools: cloning,
autoconfig, adpatch to include maintenance packs and family packs.
• Experience configuring Oracle Applications to work with multiple
application servers in a load balanced environment.
• XML Publisher and Advanced Collections experience is a plus.
• Must have experience administering transactional and decision support
databases.
• Backup, restore, and disaster recovery with RMAN.
• DB and application tuning.
• Experienced with UNIX systems. Fluent in Unix shell scripting. Fluent
with Unix editing tools (vi…etc;). Familiar with multi-terabyte system
architectures and storage sub-systems. AIX familiarity is a plus.
• Possess excellent analytical, problem solving abilities. Produces
consistently accurate work.
• Provide 24/7 production support.
• Open, manage, and resolve Oracle SR's.
• Development support (SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle development tools, third party
products).
• Experience administering SQL Server 2000/05 databases is a plus.
• Tivoli Storage Management and its integration with RMAN experience is a
plus.
• RAC and DataGuard experience is a plus.
• PeopleSoft experience is a plus.
• Implementation and migration experience is a plus
