I have a urgent direct client requirement and let me know you are comfort or not.. * * *Role: Web sphere Application Server(WAS) Admin* *Location: Washington, DC* *Duration: Long-term* *Responsibilities:* Coordinates and implements builds and application deployments for WebSphere applications on a scheduled basis; monitors performance of critical system applications and resolves operational problems in accordance with corporate guidelines; assists application development staff with the architecture and development of WebSphere and MQSeries eCommerce applications; installs and maintains WebSphere and related software on UNIX and Windows platforms; manages WebSphere configurations. Some of these activities must be performed outside normal business hours and on weekends to minimize the impact to our customers. There are 24x7 on-call responsibilities. *This position requires: ** extensive WebSphere Application Server Administration experience using WebSphere versions 7.0.x, 8.0.x, and 8.5.x in multi-node, clustered UNIX (AIX) and Windows environments. * understanding of MQSeries and JMS administration in support of a WebSphere Application Server infrastructure. * understanding of Security and JDBC configurations. * experience troubleshooting and resolving problems related to WebSphere applications, HTTP, and general eCommerce infrastructure anomalies. * advanced UNIX skills. Candidates must be capable of completing administration tasks without GUI toolsets. * excellent oral and written communication skills * providing support outside normal office hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm), including weekends and holidays *Requirements:* * This position requires a BA/BS in Computer Science and 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer.
