*Overview:*
Consultant must be able to achieve continuous improvement in the areas of:
standardization of data management processes and process improvement; data
management operational efficiency; standards compliance; data quality;
service level attainment.
Requirements:
1*. Must have 3+ years of experience with Oracle 11.G Reports Services
and Discoverer utilizing SQL:*
• Provide assistance in requirements definition and report and
analytic design and prototyping.
• Experience analyzing data for data quality issues and
preparing materials
• Strong foundation of Dimensional Modeling and OLAP -
expertise in relational and multidimensional databases
2. Must have 5+ years of experience developing complex SQL queries;
developing detailed SQL reporting specifications; aggregating, analyzing,
validating, and/or reconciling data from heterogeneous data sources, (e.g.
MS SQL Server, MS Access, Oracle, XML files, CSV files, text files, etc.).
3. 5+ years of experience monitoring the performance of reports and
taking corrective action to optimize or improve the performance of the
reports when necessary.
• SQL - Strong - Experience writing efficient SQL queries and
stored procedures to generate results
• Aggregating data from multiple sources in an efficient data
warehouse to designing enterprise-level solutions for very large
multidimensional databases.
4. Should have prior exp performing unit and system testing
5. Knowledge of software development life cycle {SLDC}
6. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
7. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and
effective communicator
8. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of
this project.
