Description: POSITION: .Net Developer NUMBER OF POSITIONS OPEN: 2 LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: 20 weeks LOCATION: Atlanta SSC Required Skills: -Microsoft .Net -C# Development -Windows Application Development -SQL -XML -Matrix 42 or other software provisioning experience (current experience) Need to have current Matrix42 or some other Software provisioning platform Years of software experience overall: 5 + Soft Skills Needed -Strong written and verbal language skills -Strong documentation skills -Self-starter Project Description/Daily Assignment Detailed Description of Daily Assignment: -Participating in design -Writing code -Documenting code for a C# Windows application Detailed Description of needed deliverable: 1) Workflow Migration App - Currently, in our Software Provisioning Management tool (Matrix42), the promotion of items from Development to QA, QP, Production servers is a manual process subject to human errors. These processes need to be automated so that code can be promoted while minimizing risk. This process should encompass: -packages -drivers -hardware profiles -OS templates and source files -sync templates -pxe images -variables -agents -configuration groups (new roles) -patch management classes 2) ChangeControl App - Design/development of this modular tool has begun, but many additional functions are required. This tool should allow automated package distributions to a combination of the following: -single clients -a list of clients -a role within a store -roles in multiple stores Package distribution would include both installation and uninstall/backout. The tool should also handle migration scenarios (moving a client or group of clients into a brand new role), or planned rebuild scenarios.
