Description: Please remember the candidate will be required for a face to face interview in Dallas at their own expense. Qualifications: This position is responsible for architecting, creating, tuning, managing and maintaining, administering all the OLAM application related database environments. These environments are used by OLAM Dev. QA and production. The position also will involve database capacity planning, monitoring, performance optimization and involved with PM, DEV, QA for new database and for database enhancements. Provides assistance and troubleshoots technical application problems for related groups - Perform database administrative duties in application perspective and issue resolution for Development, QA and production databases. Provides support for production, development, and test enterprise database systems. -- Implement databases for respective applications, access methods and documentation. -- Analyze application database performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance. -- Develop and apply procedures to meet application need. Responsibilities: The Senior Technical Architect is responsible for the same activities as the Technical Architect but has a broader scope of responsibilities and more in-depth business and technical knowledge. Responsible for multiple projects or large complex projects with cross functional teams and business processes. Demonstrate expert knowledge in multiple technical and business functional areas as well as performing a larger leadership role in the organization. Apply broad in- depth business and technical knowledge to establish technical direction and priorities. Resolve and work on issues across multiple functional areas. Effectively monitor and take action to ensure coordination and effectiveness of all components and activities and decide on issues requiring escalation. Incumbents understand the system flow for a project throughout an entire functional area (e.g. Billing, Customer Care) not just a subsystem area.
