Location: Princeton, NJ Duration: 24+ Months Locals ONLY!! Description: We are looking for an SAP BI/BW Configurator. This is a 2+ year contract position for a client in Princeton, NJ. Job Description: a.. A Senior SAP BW Functional Analyst with past experience in participation of requirements gathering for VW modeling, development, and technical support. b.. He/She will be responsible for delivery of configuration solutions into the corporations SAP Business Warehouse. c.. This individual must be able to support all phases of a project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment of solutions, and post-production support/maintenance functions as well as documentation and end-user training. d.. Most work closely with other IT ERP members and end users to ensure reporting requirements are translated to accurate design specification and that efficient and effective solution are subsequently delivered. e.. A thorough understanding of SAP BW 3.5 is required along with knowledge of SAP's R3 SD, FI, CO, PPPI, WM, QM, and IM modules. f.. Familiarity/experience with SAP Enterprise Portal and APO. g.. The successful candidate will need to have proven technical skills and excellent experience with SAP/BW standard business content activation, BEx Analyzer, and InfoCube development. Minimum Requirements: a.. Minimum 5 years in BW development environment. b.. Participation in an upgrade from BW 3.5 to BI 7.0 is a PLUS. c.. Mastery level of knowledge with BW configuration of BW data objects including Info objects, Infosources, Transfer/Update rules, ODS, Info Providers, Multiproviders. d.. Performance Tuning, Verifying data, verifying Data Loads, Archiving experience e.. Mastery level of BW 3.5 and BI 7.0. f.. Ability to develop functional specifications for development activities including interfaces, enhancements and conversions. g.. Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks. h.. Must exhibit high potential qualities in leadership and business process knowledge. i.. Self driven and entrepreneurial. j.. Must display good leadership skills by his/her ability to communicate clearly and effectively. k.. Ability to work in a multi-cultural, geographically diverse environment with all levels of management. l.. Project management experience. Education: a.. Degree in IT or related field, or equivalent in relevant experience b.. SAP Academy certification is a plus, but not required c..
