Job description:
Looking for a seasoned SDET with good back end testing skills. Will not be
involved in testing UI. Experience with C++, Win 32, API. Will be involved in
testing legacy systems. Will be involved in the full life cycle of testing from
Business Requirements, Development, Testing and then moving to production.
Will be responsible for and have experience developing Test Plans, Test Designs
and Automation plans. Will also help in production support after the system
has moved from testing to production support.
Will be using Visual Studio for source code.

About the Application Services and Architecture (ASA) Team
Primary areas of focus are middleware, backend services, and framework
libraries used to drive overall company presentation and backend transactions.
This team owns the fundamental build blocks for system architecture.
Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer in Test will examine, validate, and test large-scale
software development projects that drive the world's largest online travel
site. Your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- collaborate with developers to ensure system testability starting at
design
- design and implement automation solutions that drive our testing
- plan, design, implement, and execute test cases
Qualifications
Passionate about technology and innovation
Extensive knowledge of software design and development
Excellent understanding of testing process and methodologies
Understanding of algorithm design and data structures
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excel at problem analysis and creative problem solving
Self-motivated
Requirements
2+ years of development and white box testing experience
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
Excellent coding skills in C++
Experience in test planning, test design, automation design, and
automation implementation
Thorough understanding of concurrency and multi-threading
Worked with commercial source control system e.g. Perforce
