Title: Sr. SharePoint/.Net Developer Location : MD Requirements . Gather requirements, design, code, test, deploy, maintain SharePoint Portal and Web applications . Perform complex analysis, design, development, testing and debugging of computer software . Perform complex hardware and software design . Construct and optimize a SharePoint Farm . Build Web applications using MS Office SharePoint Server (MOSS), .NET/C#, SQL, and XML . Utilize MS Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server . Apply knowledge of one or more systems, platforms, and programming languages . Create new collaborative solutions from older implementations . Participate in writing system documents, including use case design documents . Support user acceptance testing and production system deployment efforts . Work under little supervision and assist with training junior software engineering staff Complete technical/non-technical writing and formatting using MS Word and Adobe PDF . BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 7 years of intensive development experience . Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 . Demonstrated experience developing Web applications supporting collaboration . Document management, calendar functions, and content management of diverse file types . Knowledge of software life-cycle management and CMMI . Knowledge of databases and data structures, including SQL Server and Oracle . Ability to work effectively, independently and collaboratively within a team environment . Experience with application of government security requirements and OMB Section 508 Desired, not required . Experience with SharePoint solution development, workflow, and enterprise search preferred .
