With their upcoming projects they are in need one additional QA Engineer to do manual testing of web applications and data mart technologies. The projects will primarily be on their legacy systems but will also include new development projects like eConsent and Risk Based Funds. As a QA Engineer in this group you will be responsible for developing manual test plans and test cases. You will be testing data feeds to and from external vendors, developing complex SQL queries for data validation and testing front end functionality of web based applications. *Critical Success Factors:* ·Experience testing data feeds from external sources and data mart testing ·Experience using SQL to develop complex queries for data validation; complex to this organization is to the level of inner/outer joins, joining multiple tables. ·Strong core QA competency is a key to this hiring manager; they are looking for experience in test planning, test case development, test execution and bug tracking. ·Experience testing web bases applications on the front and back end. *Differentiators:* ·Experience in financial services; specifically insurance or retirement services would be extremely helpful in this role. ·Experience on Sybase database. ·Experience with Visual Basic and using VB in the build process. ·Data warehouse or Informatica knowledge. *Application/Systems:* Steve’s team supports multiple systems within Retirement Services.
