Position :1 Urgent requirement for Cobol Programmer Location: Normal, IL Duration: 12 Months Rate: $40/hr Systems Analyst for Meta-data and Data Quality Solutions. Service analyst working on projects, service requests and handling service tasks related to the support and development of in-house meta data repository. Technical skills and knowledge required are: COBOL, JavaScript, VB Script, DB2, Stored Procedures, Crystal Reports. Data modeling concepts helpful. Position :2 SAN ADMIN Location: Normal, IL Duration: 12 Months Rate: $50/hr Storage Area Network Support - (new position) (1 year) The position is for a SAN (Storage Area Network) analyst. The individual's primary focus will be responsible for design and support of SAN in the disaster recovery (DR) environment. The work will involve multiple complex heterogeneous Storage Area Networks in an enterprise environment. The individual must have skills/experience in troubleshooting SAN related problems, switch administrating and disk array administration. Additional hours will be allocated to the ITSS SAN support team. The prospective candidate should possess the following competencies: Critical Thinking Logical Troubleshooting Aptitude to learn new ideas and technologies Ambitious Ability to communicate technical material effectively Ability to work in a team environment Excellent written communication Technical Knowledge/experience should include: Extensive knowledge of the Windows, HP-UX and AIX operating systems Extensive knowledge of administrating Hitachi Data Systems disk array subsystems Extensive knowledge of administrating Hewlett-Packard line of disk array subsystem Extensive knowledge of administrating CISCO fiber switches Experience Disaster recovery operations Disk Array to disk array based replication (i.e. Continuous Access, True Copy) Internal array replication (i.e. business copy, shadow image) Experience with Tiered Storage Experience with Storage virtualization Window's logical volume management and multipathing support Experience with LAN Free backup solutions Scripting experience, specifically Perl.
