Additional Skills: Replacement for a previous worker The manager is looking for a Systems Server Support candidate that has extensive knowledge in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 2003/2008/2008 R2 and Windows 2012). Knowledge in networking configuration / troubleshooting. Vulnerability management and remediation efforts of the OS. Disaster Recovery support knowledge. Previous Wintel server support with a large server environment utilizing virtualization as well as physical. Advanced skill level of Citrix, Windows Server 2008 and 2012 operating systems in a large corporate environment. Knowledge of EMC SAN and NAS storage devices. Knowledge of backup tools (preferably Avamar), Connect Direct and CA7 Automation. Excellent customer skills and the ability to collaborate with our MIS teams when trouble shooting infrastructure or business application issues. The Top 3 Must have skills for this position are: 1) Extensive Windows 2008 / 2012 Support --- in a large corporate environment (over 5000+ servers) 2) Quick learner / adapts easily (non-tech skill) & Excellent communication (non-tech) 3) Team player and previous experience in supporting business applications and resolving any problems and issues that may come from applications.
