*NYC: 6 months – 1Year* Responsible for implementing and maintaining *Infrastructure Monitoring toolsets. *** The duties include development, installation, configuration and operational maintaining of these toolsets. Involvement in documentation of the best practices, processes and research the latest techniques for IT system and application measurement and tuning. Additional duties may include load testing, performance analysis and troubleshooting. Candidates will be responsible for engineering monitoring solution ( Monitoring tools). They should have some background programming knowledge with the understanding of the Infrastructure components and environments. Should be self driven and be able to learn things quickly. *Tools knowledge like Wily introscope, HP BAC, IBM ITCAm, Tivoli, BMC Petrol, keynote, sitescope will be an added advantage. * Additionally, the candidate should also posses the knowledge and inner workings around the underlying application infrastructure components such as: - BigIP (F5s) Routers & Switches (Understanding of SNMP traps transmission/capture) Web & App Servers (IIS, WebSphere running on either Windows/Unix platform) Database servers (SQL, Oracle, DB2, etc...)
