Madison, WI 1+ Year assignment We have an immediate need for a Java Environment Support Engineer who will be responsible for keeping environments healthy and stable. Must have the ability to create and improve processes in a complex environment structure. Must be strong communicators to establish relationships with several diverse teams from Infrastructure, Application Development, Testing, Architecture, and Management. Required Skills/Responsibilities: * Experience as a Configuration Management Engineer * Experience as a technical lead or technical project manager * Ability to understand architecture and integrations with Java based SOA, integrations, and IBM mainframe packages * Responsible for all aspects of environment configuration, end points, queues * Maintain of a list of current environment owners, schedules for usage * Maintain the object inventory for each software release * Branching and code management experience including: -Build/Deployment process knowledge in Java applications -Define entrance and exit criteria for environment usage -Schedule Special Environment Usage (e.g. clock turn back or other unique test usage) -Enforce standards and coordinate environment changes with testing activities * Create/maintain batch and other process flows per application; including job/batch * Strong communication skills * Strong relationship building skills * Object Oriented Programming experience * Responsible for making environment configuration changes in source code * Object Oriented Support experience * Web service experience / SOA * Communicate implementation plans, status, and issues to several stakeholders * Contribute to implementation plan (including contact lists, communication plan, back out strategy, and Production verification) and review with project teams and stakeholders * Act as central point of contact for specified environments within product releases * Work with environment team for requirement review, setup and configuration of pre prod environments * Influence parallel development strategies including branching, merging, and version management * Identifyareas of risk and conflict within and across multiple releases and work with project teams to mitigate these issues * Change Management process knowledge and tool experience (e.g. CA service desk, HP Service Manager) Desired Skills: * MDB * Java J2EE development skills preferred * Spring * STRUTS integration * Spring JDBC * Object Oriented Support * J-Unit, MyEclipse, Git, CVS, or CA Harvest experience * Agile *Anuj Rai* *Sr. Recruitment Manager* *Zenith tech Solutions* *Desk: 518-621-0048Fax: 518-244-49773 park Hill* *Albany, NY 12204* *Email Id:- a...@zenithtechsolutions.com <a...@zenithtechsolutions.com>* *Gmail:- rainu...@gmail.com <rainu...@gmail.com>* *Website:- www.zenithtechsolutions.com <http://www.zenithtechsolutions.com/>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT RECURITER" group.
