*Role: WSO2 ESB Consultant*

*Location: Omaha, NE*

*Duration: 6 Months Contract*

*Primary Skills:*

Minimum 5 years of experience with Java, Unix/Linux, SQL, XML, JSON, Web
Services (SOAP, REST), WSO2 enterprise service bus, MQ, or JMS required



*Additional Skills:*

Knowledge of Informix, and Cassandra preferred

Intermediate experience with Telecommunications (e.g. VOIP, SIP, RTP,
CCXML, MRCP, VXML, etc.) preferred

Knowledge of the patent process preferred



*Job description:*



·         Responsible for the direction, strategy, design and communication
of software architecture to ensure that technical software is extensible,
scalable, reliable, secure, maintainable, and achieves business and IT
performance.

·         Provide architectural building blocks and fundamental design
concepts, ensuring robust design using repeatable and reliable processes
and reusable modules (SOA).

·         Generate prototypes, models, early user guides to keep the
engineers and users constantly up to date and in agreement on the system to
be provided as it is evolving.

·         Leads cross-functional team efforts to define architecture roles
for strategic and tactical projects to ensure that alignment to
architecture roadmap strategies are achieved.

·         Ensure that the technology footprint is maintained in a scalable
fashion.

·         Lead the architecture assessment planning and executions for
system retirements and migrations to new platforms.

·         Produce and maintain the appropriate technical and architectural
documentation.

·         Provide standards, framework, code reviews and guidance to
engineering organization.

·         Interface with stakeholders to determine the evolving needs of
multiple organizations (IT Operations, Business Units, Product Management,
etc.)

·         Research and evaluate software products for fitness and licensing
cost.
