Contract Term: 4/13 -11/6 Englewood, CO 80112 Job Description *Sr. Amazon Web Service Engineer* Lead Amazon Web Service Engineer with Amazon EC2 experience is needed to implement testing strategies and methods for Enterprise applications and data products. The Engineer *should have some Object-Oriented programming; Java Development experience.* The senior level Amazon Web Service Engineer should have specific real implementation experience in hosting Microservices on Amazon cloud. The Amazon Web Service Engineer will be expected to act as a leader in the organization to help drive migration of the micro services and enhancements for the same. Job Description: Responsible for providing senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprise’s overall systems architecture. Facilitates the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the enterprise. Reviews, advises and designs standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goals. Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards. Assists in the development of and manages an architecture governance process. Provides technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate. Tracks industry trends and maintains knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprise’s architecture needs. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically has at least 7 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/systems environments performing systems planning, architecture design, engineering (hardware and software) and optimization. *Responsibilities for the Amazon Web service Engineer* · Solid design and implementation experience with Microservices · Working on the cutting edge of a wide range of innovative Amazon Web Services/AWS uses cases. · Architecting solutions for massive scale, resiliency and maintainability. · Designing software-defined networks and secure data access. · Setting-up and configuring Amazon Web Services//AWS services to best practices. · Integrating Amazon Web Services//AWS asset provisioning with code release and continuous deployment processes. · Automated software deployment and configuration management. *Minimum Requirements for the Amazon Web Services Engineer:* · A Bachelor's degree (BS, BA) required.
