Role - Android Developer Location: El Segundo, California(Greater Los Angeles Area) Duration: Contract (6 - 18 months) *Job Description:* We are seeking a strong Android Developer to work for our client of ours in the Los Angeles area as a key member of their Core Platform Team. This position will be responsible for designing and developing highly responsive, and multithreaded apps; reviewing requirements, UX designs and translating them into product development plans and schedules. *Required: * * BS in Computer Science or related field, with 5+ years experience and strong understanding of Java and Android SDK * Experience working with Android SDK components such as Activities, Fragments, Intents, Layouts, and others * Comprehensive understanding of REST/JSON/XML Web Services * Experience with multithreaded software design and working knowledge of the general mobile software design pattersn, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies *Desired: * * Experience with mission critical, high volume, mobile apps and/or web-based systems * Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ideal candidates for this position will have at least three years of experience working on mobile development, and will be proficient with all Android development tools.
