Position: MS System Admin Location: Hartford, CT Duration: 6+ months *Technical Background:* 1. Operating Systems (REQUIRED) · Technical and operational understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating systems in relations to identity management and application interaction with identities stored in OS directory · Good understanding of network technologies and implications to applications, eg use of 3DNS and BIG IP/ACE load balancing · understanding of the TCP/IP protocol (REQUIRED) · Application troubleshooting experience, reviewing of application/system logs in Windows servers, Linux servers · Knowledge of Unix related OS, especially Red Hat Linux GOOD TO HAVE *2. Microsoft Applications (REQUIRED)* · Microsoft AD/AM – Operational knowledge on supporting applications authenticating against Microsoft AD/AM. Creation of management tools on the fly to assist with day to day management of data within AD/AM. Experience with other LDAP directories, eg Sun Enterprise Directory will be considered · Use of LDAP tools · Microsoft SQL – Installation and configuration not required, a dedicated DA team does this. Good understanding of application requirements a plus. Writing of stored procedures and other scripts/queries needed to massage data within SQL required *Development:* 1.
