Need: Websphere Administrator to implement, manage and monitor multiple websphere environments.
Responsibilities: Design and installation of Websphere Application Server, Deployment of Enterprise applications, installation & configuration of new application, configuring or modifying application content, proactively monitoring the health of applications, configuring and managing security of the applications, monitoring, optimizing, tuning and troubleshooting application and implementing cluster services to perform load balancing and increase availability of the application. Knowledge of Websphere horizontal / vertical clustering, webseal, and Tivoli Access manager. Must have proven experience with Websphere ver 5.1/6.0 running on AIX. Basic understanding of AIX Administration including basic shell scripting is required. Knowledge of: MQ Series, BMC Patrol, Websphere KM, pervasive Data Integrator, and Unix Shell Scripting.
