*Position: Sr SQL DBA* *Duration : 6 Months Plus* *Location :South Brunswick NJ* *Client is looking for someone with experience in multiple databases such as SQL Server and MySQL in Profiles. Please send me the resumes accordingly.* *Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering. 10+ years of related work experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a DBA.* The position requires the ability to install, upgrade and manage single instances and clusters. Must have working knowledge with database mirroring, replication and log shipping. Must be proficient in writing and troubleshooting SQL Code, ETL packages, database integrity issues, blocking and deadlocking issues. Proficiency is required in SSMS, SSIS, Query Analyzer and SpotLight. Must be able to develop procedures to monitor, tune and optimize database and application performance. Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics is required. Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for database instances is required.
