QA Tester Location Tulsa OK Duration : 6 months Web Service Testing Resource Skill Requirements Candidates must have experience and demonstrate thorough knowledge in each of these areas. WSDL: How to access and read XML: How to read the format and the data based on the format SQL Query: How to develop a query. How to access the database and use the query to analyze test results against source data. SOAPUI Application: Application used to test web services. HPQC: Able to write and execute manual test cases using HP Quality Center Plus: HP Service Test Application to develop test automation. . Responsibilities include but are not limited to 1. Create test plans. 2. Conducts tests and analyses on enterprise business systems. 3. Create test data files to test program or system logic. 4. Implements changes to enhance the effectiveness of IT system quality assurance strategies including release management, deployments, and testing 5. Coordinates with users to plan user acceptance testing. 6. Drafts, revises and approves test plans. 7. Identifies and recommends changes to enhance the effectiveness of IT system quality assurance strategies including release management, deployments, and testing. 8. Conducts and facilitates risk analyses of system changes to determine appropriate test strategies 9. Assists with developing and maintaining the release plan, strategy, and roadmap 10. Documents and works to resolve complex problems. 11. Assist the QA team in creating, updating, executing and recording results of test cases and test scripts. 12. Continuously analyze and suggest ways to improve product quality. 13. Apply Quality Assurance best practices to drive continuous improvement and quality to the Positive Energy Smart Grid IT Quality Assurance team. Complex responsibilities related to primary focus of job area. Works under minimal supervision. Uses best practices and in-depth business knowledge to solve complex problems and improve products or services.
