Option on Extension: Yes Work Location - San Jose CA Duration – 6 months+ Rate - Market *Summary of Project:* Lumileds is a highly innovative business and develops LED technology for use in industrial and commercial applications. As the need for innovation increases and the product portfolio of Lumileds grows, the volume of development projects grows and the process of managing these development projects becomes more complicated. A PLM Strategic Value Assessment has been performed at Lumileds where a survey and interviews were held under a broad range of key stakeholders in order to measure the maturity of the Lumileds PLM processes and tools compared to industry best practices. Description of Assignment: Lumileds has an urgent request to support their Product Configuration Management. Currently partslist end up in JD Edwards and documents are stored in Lumilink (Live link). SAP Roll-out to Lumileds is postponed once more. Currently a PLM evaluation takes place to recommend the best PLM fit for Lumileds (Agile, Team center, SAP). This project should implement the recommended and approved solution. Deliverables: The Project Manager is required to work on site at the San Jose Lumileds plant. We are looking for a PM with Team center experience, attached is the PM leveling form with detailed information about the requirements Knowledge and Experience: Teamcenter Mandatory: Project Manager level 2.4 or higher as stated in the forms book. • Mandatory: Experienced with internal project management methodology. • Mandatory: Knowledge of and relationship with ITI, Service Operations organization. (knows the IT model and organization) • Mandatory: Located/operating out of San Jose / greater bay area.
