It’s a Brother printer and their drivers generally are bad.

Do you have any specs on the printer causing the
error?
I too have no problems getting this document to print
correctly.
I think your PDF is fine.
It seems that the printer is re-interpreting the data and
doing something else with it.
Bad print driver perhaps?

Hi there, I am having a problem when exporting HTML table to PDF file. The conversion was fine and i was able to see the PDF version. However, the first column of the table takes up half of the table width even though the width property of td tag was set. I looked up all the mailing list questions

You have already created PDF using a Servlet.
You can create PDF using a standalone app too.
