In the "iText in action" book i read about permissions and the static method
PdfEncryptor.getPermissionsVerbose(int permissions);
thats a nice method for logging but not really useful in code.
Is there a reason why this functionality is not available directly for
programming ?

We are using some JAI classes under a license that was granted
by SUN in 2001. Meanwhile this license has changed, but for use
in iTe
