The speed at which
image.getInstance(..) loads an image appears to be amazingly fast.
I have three
questions about it:
1) How is it that
this is so much faster than other methods
like "Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().createImage(..)" or "ImageIO.read(..)" or
"Jimi.
