Hi all I am totally frustated and have run forum to forum .Also i am new to this pdf java api.
So here is my application- We have some pdfs(acroforms and xfa forms). We add some hidden fields, date fields, buttons, javascript validations onto this using adobe acrobat pro 9. Old application,we were using FDFmerge to render acroforms. But requirement came to add new pdf forms which were xfa forms. So got to know FDF merge is of no use. Now we using dynamicPDF api for java to render both acroforms and xfa forms but its messing up rendering. So now i am thinking on using iText but wants to know if its going to work in my case or not. We dont add pics /images etc - just hidden fields, radio buttons, date fields, some text fields and buttons with javascript validation of user-input values. somewhere i read iText works for Static XFAs not Dynamic XFAs so i have no idea what is mine. i guess it should be dynamic bcos of javascript but dont know. Please suggest. -- View this message in context: http://itext-general.2136553.n4.nabble.com/Using-iText-for-XFA-forms-feasbile-or-not-tp3638947p3638947.html Sent from the iText - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
