that the OP means to say that he can get the AcroFields (although he

Exactly! I mean I don't know too much about the c# version of itext but
there is no way he gets "null" in return.
He seems to directly access the acrofields object which of course can be
null if he directly accesses it (depending whether the acroFields object
has been instanciated before or not). T
