As per

255&atid=365255 I am trying to get a diverse UTF-8 HTML file converted into
PDF and so far only get the German Umlauts working.

It appears that adding c:\winnt\fonts\arialuni.ttf to relevant classes
solves the problem.

However, it would great to have a method that detects on Linux, Mac, and
other operating systems which corresponding fonts are available?

If anybody has some experience in this, I would highly appreciate if you
could share it!
