The following font families are defined usable by the RTF Spec. \fnil | \froman | \fswiss | \fmodern | \fscript | \fdecor | \ftech | \fbidi
The RtfFont class defaults to "\froman" for all fonts. Changing the font family to an undefined font changes the font name to the undefined family name. For example: Original RtfFont: font name = "Arial" family name = "roman" change to: family name = "swiss" result: font name = "swiss" family name = undefined With that result, it causes the font definition to NOT be generated in the output RTF file. It appears the base Font/FontFactory classes only recognizes the following families. COURIER, HELVETICA, TIMES_ROMAN, SYMBOL, ZAPFDINGBATS 1. Is the resulting font name change intended or could this be an issue? 2. How would the other font families, i.e. "\fswiss" be created for use in iText since they do not appear to be supported by the Font or FontFactory classes in iText?
