I suppose arbitrary media file transfers may also be useful. However, the current handling of received contacts and calendar items in bluetooth-share is not suitable for Tizen IVI: the data ends up in contacts-service and calendar-service, where it is never read by anything on the system. Sending contacts twice leads to duplicates. This undesired feature just makes the image larger, because it pulls in these unused components. Therefore I created https://review.tizen.org/gerrit/#/c/30183/ Zheng Wu, can you merge that change and do the "gbs push" of it? Mikko already agreed with the change. Long term we need to implement what Tom described: use OPP as alternative transport for contact data and import it into the same address book cache. -- Best Regards, Patrick Ohly The content of this message is my personal opinion only and although I am an employee of Intel, the statements I make here in no way represent Intel's position on the issue, nor am I authorized to speak on behalf of Intel on this matter. _______________________________________________ IVI mailing list IVI@lists.tizen.org https://lists.tizen.org/listinfo/ivi
