Xwalk team is working on a solution without DBUS connection.

and install it on the box. I have an rpm that will install the wgt files
to '/opt/usr/apps/.preinstallWidgets' . I am installing the wigit
Hi Art,
to do this in a post script in rpm you need to choose a user because
currently we can't install an app for whole system (It will soon but it is
not the case now).
If you take a look Modello Installer we do all installation as app (as
Brian said). we need to specify DBUS command before as
So, Is there a way to do this with an rpm? Or an Idea how this will be
accomplished?
Thanks,

When I try it I get a dbus error. Here I'm just trying to list the apps on the
box.
root:~> su app -c"xwalkctl"
Couldn't get the session bus connection: Could not connect: No such file or

to install and run apps but only as app user.I have been unable to do
this as root. I have an rpm that installs the apps but I need to be able
