adding /etc/modprobe.conf and adding

John,
I applied the patch to 0.3.2c, but no success with my PVR-150 NTSC (tuner=50.)
I get:

I've got a PVR-500 and after making these changes I also get video and audio on
the svideo0 input. The interesting thing, however, is that it only works on
/dev/video1. On /dev/video0 I still get nothing but static. I'm not sure if I
have the tuners wrong or if it's something else. I peeled

Thanks again,
I get back:

Is there a guide somplace with the possible tuner values, or how do I

Well you are missing the tveeprom module. This module discovers the type
of tuner you have. You can try setup the tuner to a type.
AKA modprobe ivtv tuner=39
what does 'rpm -qa| grep ivtv' give you?

Thanks for responding Stephen,
It tells me:
FATAL: module tveeprom not found.
I installed ivtv from the atrpms through apt-get following the howto I
mentioned in my first message.
I'm useing fedora core 3, mostly My backround is with SuSE so I'm kind

What is the output of dmesg when you load tveeprom module?
AKA
modprobe tveeprom && dmesg

John,
I've used ivtv-0.3.2[bcd] with my PVR 150 which all show a somewhat
similar behaviour. When grabbing from the composite input I get both,
composite and tuner audio.
Since the tuner of my VCR (tape) shows less noise than my PVR 150 (model

I still have do not have audio, but I can change channels now.
Tunner type 39 seems to work, but I get this in dmesg:

tveeprom: tuner = (idx = 99, type = 4)

Hi,
I'm using SuSE 9.1 with 2.6.5-7.111.19-bigsmp kernel.
After a long time I've upgraded to 0.2.0-rc3f and got compiler errors
in module msp3400.c and some subsequent modules which are the same type.
Changing the following code piece in line 135 of msp3400.c from:

Looks like your card similar to mine, and I'm running gentoo 2.6.10 r6

I think so far there still is no audio & video for the tuner together.
Although on mine the tuner picture is fine if yours isn't that

Jelte,
I've had similar problems with FC 3. You have to recompile your kernel
without REGPARM and 4KSTACKS... Then the ivtv module will load...

I am just getting started in setting up a Wintv 150. I know that all the

Currently I have only tried the tuner input. I get no sound, the picture
is fuzzy and I do not seem to be able to change the channel.
