I have managed to get this working by using a 4050 CMOS buffer chip as
indicated by Trev Jackson. I will write this up a bit later with some
pictures for anyone else who wants to do the same thing, it might be

Thanks, Chris, for including my previous patches in ivtv-0.3.7b.
This patch makes more improvements to the detection of interfering
modules.
- I added a new target "install-nocheck" for those who don't want the
checks done.
- I added a scan for modules with names like ivtv-*.ko and *-ivtv.ko

Hi all!
I'm in the process of planning my htpc box. I've bought a PVR-350 PAL and some
of the other stuff. I'm going for a really cool and quiet system since I need
to have both backend and frontend in one box, under the TV. I'm hoping to use

Is xine discarding frames? Try -verbose.
I don't think I see this problem in PAL-land but I do get the odd
discarded frame on my 2.5GHz celeron with DVD content (approx 1 per
200 frames) and up to 5/200 with qt or Divx content.

Chris,
can you add Bryan's patch to the next release? I've been using it for
the last month with no problems. It equalizes the volume control so

levels.
