Now that development has moved to ivtvdriver.org it is time to also update the
sourceforge pages to point to the new site, to move relevant information over
to the new site, and to further fill in ivtvdriver.org. Also the Wiki site
should be cleaned up and monitored.
Finally, someone to look

As far as I can tell MythTV enables VBI embedding depending on the VBI

I use my PVR350 remote as follows:
# modprobe ivtv # version 0.3.7k
# modprobe ir-kbd-i2c # remote is accessible via /dev/input/event1
# input-kbd -f keymap 1 # load keymap (see attachment) for the remote
That way, I don't need LIRC to control MythTV since the remote produces

I'm currently using the PVR350 (Svideo) out. I'm having better luck now using MythGames (xmame.x11) in full screen. Unfortunately, I'm having a problem with Xmame. When the system first boots and the first thing I do is go to a xmame game, the outline of the game is covered with colored blotches

Thanks for the information. I'm slowly understanding all the intricacies of ivtv. I will have to do that in /etc/rc.local.
Will this be fixed at some point? With all the changes, I hate leaving quick fixes when you no longer need them
I really like the new version of Xdriver. I can now enjoy Mame
Ivtv only uses the evdev driver. We have nothing to do with it's development,
maintenance, or bugs. You should email whoever submitted that patch or whoever
maintains that driver these days.

Sort of,
Pull the card and see if the lspci changes.
Put the card back in, make sure it is in all the way. Some folks have
been surprised to find that they didn't have it pushed in all the way or
that it was slightly angled in the slot.
Easy mistake to make with cards that have connectors that stick out

Using the current method enough to trigger the driver into dma'ing the data
to the 350. Using other dedicated methods I believe this could be made
smaller.
However I think I once managed to persuade the card to draw things without

Leon,
I had a simular problem which was being caused by an NVidia card with
TV-out (I tried 2 cards, both gave this result). Try moving the card to
a different slot. If you have a NVidia-card with TV-out, try replacing
it with another one without and see if that changes anything. You never
know.

Yes. So does 0.3.7k by itself, but this is an enhanced xdriver
that is quite a bit faster than the stock driver that ships
with 0.3.7k.
