So I thought I would try out the latest development sources 0.3.9 but no

The main reason would be so that you have consistent
volume control throughout MythTV without requiring two
sets of buttons to do it.
In order to get things working, you need to loop the
audio from the PVR-350 into your sound card, and then
the PCM mixer doesn't seem to control the output
volume (
Go to your motherboard manufacturer's Website and look for a bios
update. It's worked for a few VIA chipset users including myself.

I finally discovered the cause of my silent PVR150: the LG S001D tuner looks
like a Philips FM1216ME MK3, but it isn't: the tda9887 needs different
programming. With this change I've finally got my sound back.

I don't know how long is "too long", but it does use the SA_INTERRUPT
flag (disable all interrupts during handler).

sources and built the latest svn ivtv driver (2694) against it. Now
I'm getting this on module load.

I testet all the .3.7 and the .3.8 release.
I always did a cold reboot between driver-updates and unplugged powercord
to make sure the capacitators are empty.
