I run a debian unstable system. Succesful compiled jabberd 2.1.23 with
ldap and mysql support.
When running I got a "c2s died" error.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# su jabber
sh-3.1$ cd /usr/local/bin/
sh-3.1$ ./jabberd
ERROR: c2s died. Shutting down server.
And this in syslog:

Yes, there were serious bugs in jabberd presence handling.
I was working on it around jabberd 2.1.20 (IIRC).
