My colleague does not make use of TeX, but wants to use his
bibliographies in Word. So for him a solution through Jabref export will
be easier.
I myself use BibLaTeX with biber from TeXLive2015, but have not yet

Shouldn't it be possible to achieve this in a biblatex style? Many
references won't even have the initials but full names. It's usually the
bibliography processor that generates the initials.
