When my desktop crashed, it apparently did some damage to jabref. One 
of my databases no longer displays its groups tree. That is, in Groups 
for that database, all I see is "All Entries".

The relevant .bib file does have the "@comment{jabref-meta: 
groupstree:" section at the end, and as best I can make out it is not
damaged. 

I added a "test" group to troubleshoot. While it it did work properly 
as a group, it also entirely deleted my old group tree defined in the 
.bib file. So I had to copy it back.

I do not know by what mechanism the interface accesses the .bib file 
and displays it in the interface, and so I have no idea how to 
troubleshoot or repair.
