About ten days ago, I filed bug 676:

requesting that we promote Solr's PrefixFilter to the Java Lucene core.
Several people responded in favor:

Then Hoss Man asked for a unit test to go along with the class. That missing
unit test was provided:

Is there anything else missing preventing these changes from being committed ?
If not, may I kindly request that someone with the appropriate commit
privileges finishes the job ? Please :)
