I dont know whether this is a bug in the XF86 implementation or the Motif libs
the JDK2 is linked with.
I tend to believe it is the latter case, but who am I to be sure about that ?

No browser (besides HotSpot 3.0) is capable of running JRE 1.2,
neither does Netscape. Period.
Windows and Solaris users have the JAVA plugin, we dont (yet).
So you have to stick with JDK 1.1.7 using Netscape Navigator.
