running I am trying to run an app that requires the javax.comm
package.
I have taken a look
at rxtx, and also downloaded the sparc version of the package, in order to
somehow be able to do as described in the install instructions. However, I have

You (appear to ) have the same problem that I had. The comm.jar should
be placed in the 'ext' directory, rather than the 'lib' directory. ( i
think ). The doc's are exceptionally outdated. I hope this helps.
