Location: *NY* Duration: *1 Year* 1 Programmer Analyst Vendor will provide on-site programmer analyst to incorporate website enhancements and database enhancements to the New York State Department of Health IHANS and Alert System. The programmer analyst will provide software design and development services based on requirement provided by the DOH IHANS Project Team. *The Programmer Analyst will complete the following activities: * - J2EE development on Weblogic application server, JSF (w/Facelets), Spring, and iBATIS frameworks. - Maintenance of existing production applications. - Serve as technical developer on helping lead technical in defining the design and architecture specifications. - Serve as technical interface to technical lead and staff, and the Project Manager. - Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and project design/architecture specifications. - Monitor change control and configuration management procedures are followed by the team in all environments (Dev, Test, Prod). - Develop and provide guidance in the reuse and integration of standard application components. - Develop and provide guidance in the creation of reusable components. - Develop and provide guidance in the use of technologies providing rich user interfaces. Other related duties as assigned.
