* * *Position*: Java developer with strong web services *Location*: Mount Laurel, NJ *Duration*: 3-6 months + (very likely longer) *Face-to-face interview required after phone interview* *Job Details:* The main objective for this position is to build Webservices on an ESP platform. Major Duties Ø Design and Develop Web Services within a SOA based enterprise framework using agile methodology. Ø Develop detailed designs using Object-Oriented Methodology. Ø Develop components for SOAP, Restful web services Ø Create java components to support LDAP. Ø Implement persistence layer with spring LDAP. Ø Write Unit Test Cases. Ø Utilize COTs and open source technologies Ø Support testing efforts. Ø Support documentation efforts. Ø Understand and consume application requirements and use cases. Ø Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Ø *Experience* o 3 to 5 yrs of experience in Java Development. o 3+ year experience with web services, SOA based development, using XML/XSD o 4+ yrs experience with developing and deploying J2EE components within BEA Weblogic Server. o 3+ yrs experience with development tools such as Eclipse, ANT or similar tools o 3+ yrs experience with TDD, JUNIT, HttpUnit, Code Coverage tools and EasyMock or JMock o 3+ yrs experience with Oracle or SQL Server development. o 3+ yrs experience with Hibernate or JDO a plus. o Experience with Spring Framework is a plus. o 3+ yrs experience developing web applications using MVC Framework, custom tags and COTs is a plus o Experience with LDAP Directory is a plus o Experience with COTs for Web Application Development a plus o Experience with automation of Web services testing using tools such as SOAP UI and HP Service test. o Experience with CSS, JavaScript and Ajax a plus o Exposure to Agile methodology a plus. o Experience in a Cable, Telecom, or a Media company a plus. o Experience with Voice, Data, and Video technology a plus. o Should have excellent communication and problem solving skills. o Must be a team player.
